The Honourable Graham Kelly
Graham Kelly served as New Zealand’s High Commissioner to Canada, with non-resident accreditation to Jamaica, Barbados, Guyana, and Trinidad and Tobago, from 2003 to 2006. Prior to his appointment as High Commissioner, Mr Kelly was a Member of Parliament from 1987 until 2003. During his time in Parliament, he served for three years as the Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs, Trade and Defence Select Committee and headed parliamentary delegations to the People’s Republic of China, including Tibet, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and Australia.
Mr George Troup
George Troup served as New Zealand’s Ambassador to Mexico from 2004 to 2007, with concurrent accreditation to Cuba, El Salvador, Guatemala and Venezuela. Mr Troup joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1986 after working for the Treasury. He served as Director of Europe Division, Director of the Economic Division and as New Zealand’s Senior APEC Official during his career at the Ministry. Postings overseas included Paris and Washington. He retired from the Ministry in 2014 after concluding a term as Ambassador to the Netherlands.
